3. How to Control Cookies
You are not currently asked for consent, and that is deliberate
Every cookie listed above is strictly necessary — it keeps you signed in, or it records this preference. Under the ePrivacy Directive strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, so we do not show a consent banner and do not ask you to agree to anything.
We previously showed a banner offering “analytics” cookies. That was wrong: no analytics service runs on this platform, so there was nothing to consent to. The banner now appears only if a non-essential cookie is actually introduced, because it is driven by the same configuration that would load one — it cannot say we are tracking you while we are not, or stay silent while we are.
If that changes, a banner will appear on your next visit and this page will list the new cookies before it does. You can clear your browser's local storage for boxedoff.ie at any time to reset any stored preference.
Browser settings
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete existing cookies
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies from specific sites
