You're a nail tech. You charge €45 for a gel manicure. Consumer books and pays. Money sits in escrow. You do the manicure, consumer enters their PIN. €45 arrives in your IBAN within 24 hours. Boxed Off took nothing from you.

Stripe processes the payment (approx 1.5% + 25c for EU cards) — this is included in the consumer service fee, not charged separately. No surprises at checkout.

Pricing FAQ

Where does the service fee go?
The consumer service fee (10–12%) covers our platform costs, Stripe payment processing, customer support, and Onfido identity verification. Providers never pay anything.
Will the service fee ever increase?
Our founding providers lock in the current fee structure permanently. Future providers will always be able to see our current fee before signing up — no surprises.
Is there a trial or free period?
Providers are live immediately with no trial period required — because there's nothing to charge. We only make money when you make bookings.
What does Stripe Connect cost?
Stripe charges standard payment processing fees (approx. 1.5% + 25c for European cards). This is separate from Boxed Off's service fee and is included in the consumer-facing price.
Can I offer packages or discounts?
Yes — bundle your services into packages (e.g., "4 weekly cleans at 10% off"). Discounts come out of your price, not from our fee.
